Impact of the internet on Egypt's unrest

The internet, or to be more specific Facebook and Twitter play a critical role in the Egyptian protests movement. The people use these media sources as bridges to stay connected domestically and internationally. At any given point of time, protests and international audiences could see what is really happening in every corner of the streets of Cairo. They are communication channels, where protests can freely express their opinions with their fellows countrymen's and the people who live beyond the border. The power of there media source allows users to upload their own personal pictures and video clips that are sometimes restricted to other establish broadcasting organizations.
